Burn Boot Camp Rochester North is looking for caring and compassionate Child Care Team Members who have experience caring for children ages eight weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to providing top quality care and a welcoming environment that reflects the Burn commitment to community. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.


Duties:

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in a 45 minute daycare style setting.
- Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to promote childhood development.
- Supervise children during playtime
- Provide basic caregiving tasks such as games, crafts, and play.
- Manage children's behavior and promote positive social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the children.


Requirements:

- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or able to get one within 30 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent education required. Additional certifications in early childhood education are desirable.

Salary: $13-$14 per hour

 

Available Schedule:

  • Morning shift (8:15am-12:00pm) 
  • Evening shift (4:00pm-8:00pm)
  • Rotating Saturday Mornings (7:45am-12:00pm)


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)


Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
