The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing product presence within their assigned territory. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding market trends, and effectively promoting our dehumidifier products.
To perform this job successfully, the selected individual(s) must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties and job responsibilities listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Management: Drive sales of dehumidifier products by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within the assigned territory.
- Daily Outreach: Conduct 60 phone calls and emails per day, balanced between new leads, existing customers, distributors, and manufacturing reps.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies and achieve sales goals.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our dehumidifier products and their applications to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
- Reporting: Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to management on a regular basis.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction with our products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to provide feedback on market needs and product improvements.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and generate leads. Possess in-depth product knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the HVAC or dehumidification industry.
- Previous experience and success with OEM as well as distributor sales.
- Strong understanding of dehumidifier products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools like Excel and Google Docs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the territory.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Required to travel within the territory for up to 9 days a month. Attendance for conventions is required. If more than two conventions in a month, road sales can be adjusted. Road time includes visits and demos with manufacturing reps and distributors. Sales training may be conducted via web video calls within the territory; completing four video training courses necessitates five road days.
