XSITE LLC is looking for a Mid to Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

We are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company headquartered in San Diego. We provide full spectrum systems and systems-of-systems engineering and integration services and solutions for space, C5ISR, cyber and enterprise information systems.

We are transitioning over to a sustainment work for a dedicated Modeling and Simulation software application supporting the U.S. Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC). This application provides critical predictive information to SATCOM System Experts, RSSCs, and CCMD J6’s to make informed communication planning decisions. As part of this sustainment work, there are new requirements for specific System Engineer tasks. 

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience with remote Windows system administration of virtual servers, including installation and maintenance of web applications, services, microservices, and database scripts.
  • Provide server management support and limited end-user support or troubleshooting as required.
  • Creates and manages system permissions and user accounts.
  • Assist remote database administrators with updates.
  • Perform system and network diagnostics and fixes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration or related disciplines
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE (Cybersecurity Workforce required)
  • Experience managing IT systems in classified environments
  • Experience setting up and managing physical and virtual machines
  • Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to Windows, IIS Server and Sites, PostgreSQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of security and privacy best practices in a cloud environment
  • Experience working in a Linux environment (Ubuntu, Redhat)
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and DISA Stratus (Milcloud)
  • Experience managing PostgreSQL (15.x)
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills, excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
