OVERVIEW:

Performs a variety of duties associated with a Human Resource Business Partner function which includes, but is not limited to the following: recruitment, employee relations, engagement, and talent management. This position will also provide support to our data governance and quality objectives through our primary HR system, ADP. Customer centricity is a critical expectation of this role.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and the community in which it serves.

1.Consult with business units to support talent strategies which will encompass, succession planning, staffing optimization models, organizational structure, diversity, equity and belonging, and employee engagement action planning.

2. Experience with Human Resource data quality and management. Will partner with the HR Operations team to develop data governance, quality and security measures to effectively improve data accuracy throughout all HR systems.

3. Support the training and development needs of the bank through design, and facilitation to improve skills such as; technology optimization, innovation, leadership, time management, project management, problem solving and utilization of data. Determine success measures to ensure outcomes are reached. Validate training and development outcomes by forming iterative performance monitoring.

4. Recruitment experience necessary, which includes, but limited to; candidate pipeline strategies, applicant tracking, manager intake, employment branding, diversity and college engagement, direct sourcing (preferred), candidate assessments (Predictive Index, Disc Profile, etc) interview strategies, compensation guidelines and knowledge of backend operations. Preference given to candidates with experience building Boolean search strings, passive recruitment skills, and candidate funnel projections.

5. Experience consulting with managers at all levels regarding federal and state employment law such as, but not limited to; FMLA, PFML, ADA, AA, EEO, Discrimination, Harassment, Wage and Hour, ERISA, Title VII, COBRA, among others. Conducting investigations to determine root cause and appropriate action /inaction.

6. Experience with Human Resource Operations to navigate successfully through daily tasks, ensuring that payroll, recruitment, and leave data quality and efficiencies are established and maintained.

7. Support the continued evolution of a performance management culture. Assist managers with the construction of measureable and realistic goals and objectives as well as the actions to monitor the success or failure of reaching the established goals.

8. Create a value driven, consultative relationships with leaders to ensure business groups have the optimal capacity to achieve bank goals and objectives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Human Resource Management, Data Management or Business Management degree or equivalent. 3- 5 years acting in the capacity of a Human Resource Generalist or Business Partner function, 2 - 4 years of data analysis. Strong analytical, problem solving using data. Moderate to advanced Excel skills. Experience with end to end training design, development and facilitation. Knowledge and experience with various state and federal employment laws (FLSA, EEO, FMLA, PFML, Affirmative Action Planning, Pay Equity, Wrongful Termination, Retaliation, etc).

Community banking a plus, Financial Services experience helpful. Strong track record of building relationships, and follow through. Must have the capacity to prioritize multiple, sometimes competing objectives and maintain quality of performance supported by organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to professionally navigate sensitive and confidential matters required.

Performs work within established guidelines and according to specific procedures. May resolve some problems, rather than referring them to immediate supervisor.
