commitment to quality and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of
Sales to join our team and lead our sales efforts in our eastern division.
As the Vice President of Sales at BuzzBallz/Southern Champion you will play a pivotal role in driving the
company's sales strategy and growth within the dynamic and competitive alcohol beverage industry.
Reporting directly to the Senior VP of Sales, you will lead a high-performing sales force and collaborate
cross-functionally to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market expansion. Fast growing company with great benefits.
Responsibilities
Establish and Cultivate Strong Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior distributor leaders, key customers, and partners.
- Manage key relationships in each state/distributor to ensure optimal distribution and brand representation.
Goal Setting and Sales Forecasting:
- Establish annual goals aligned with company objectives and strategy.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to facilitate informed decision-making.
Sales Target Management:
- Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the sales team.
- Analyze sales performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire high performance within the sales team through mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
- Supervise regional sales teams, driving them to meet goals and KPIs.
- Motivate, train, and manage the sales team with regular feedback on performance.
- Implement performance management when needed and recognize top achievers.
National Marketing and Promotions:
- Manage the execution of national marketing and promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.
Market Understanding:
- Have a deep understanding of each market's trends, competitors, and shifting landscape to identify gaps and opportunities.
Budget Management:
- Manage regional budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources.
Legal Compliance:
- Liaise with in-house legal counsel to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations in each state.
Collaboration and Support:
- Build strong and collaborative relationships across departments.
- Assist the SVP and National Account VP in dealing with complex activities, opportunities, and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the alcohol or beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competition.
- Nielsen, IRI, VIP literate.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.

- Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Southern Champion
