The OSP Field Survey Engineer is responsible for performing inspection and verification of Outside Plant Fiber Networks to include construction elements such as conduit, fiber, splice case locations, cabinets & pole analysis.

OSP Fielder

You MUST understand Outside Plant (OSP) Principals as they pertain to FTTH & FTTB (Fiber to the Home & Fiber to the Business).

The OSP Fielder is responsible for performing Site Walks/Visits for inspection and verification of Outside Plant Fiber Networks to include construction elements such as conduit, fiber, splice case locations, cabinets & pole analysis.

Previous AT&T experience moves you to the front of the line.

You will perform site visits to document field conditions for new sites and site modification projects.

Conduct site or pole surveys, utilizing OSP field equipment, such as Proprietary Software, Drop Stick, Flash Stick, GPS, laser rangefinders, and measuring wheels, etc.


You must have solid Fielding experience on OSP systems, including Fiber To The Home FTTH deployments.

This includes aerial and underground fiber optic systems, cable placement, heavy and aerial make ready tasks.
