Summary:


This position serves as general maintenance and administrative support to the Facilities department in our Houston, Texas office.


Responsibilities:


· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, access control systems, and overhead cranes.

· Perform reactive and scheduled preventative maintenance for facilities such as filters, pits, and septic tanks.

· Manage and perform all preventative maintenance on facilities’ equipment.

· Inform management of the status of repairs

· Control inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment

· Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions.

· Work with HSE to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), and NEC (National Electrical Code)

· Perform work at elevated heights when necessary.

· Operate a forklift.

· Can provide on-call services as necessary.

· Other duties as assigned.


Educational Requirements / Qualifications:


· A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

· Advanced skill set in one or more of the following areas: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Access Control Systems (10+ years preferred)

· Ability to communicate maintenance needs and project future needs.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to sustain heights (using ladders) up to 25 feet.

· Must be able to operate a company vehicle safely.

· Basic computer skills with moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Some overtime is required.
