JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Full P&L responsibility for the business segment including budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable and collections.
  • supervision of regional personnel (i.e., Employee reviews, moral, discipline, and training)
  • approval of payroll and expense reporting and approval and management of accounts payable
  • managing and enhancing existing customer relationships
  • developing new client relationships
  • preparation of cost estimates, bids and proposals
  • coordination with other business segments as required to support the overall efforts of the company.
  • Job planning, scheduling and budget control

 

Duties:

1. Maintain job records/files including job costing, billing information,

schedule of values, change orders etc.

2. Schedule manpower.

3. Assist in the coordination of material and equipment deliveries.

4. Review and execute any start up procedures as applicable.

5. Conduct a kickoff meeting with the Project Superintendent to review

the contract documents and field binder for issues and project needs

beyond normal operating

process.

6. Coordinate with the Project Manager / Superintendent to assure the

project meets profitability targets including the use of field overtime as

needed.

7. Perform timely communication with field management through the

daily field reports and other documentation as needed.

8. Review time sheets and expense reports weekly for accuracy and

timely submission to accounting.

9. Review all project costs monthly to assure accurate and timely

accounting of project costs.

10. Identify all waivers and affidavits and ensure that they are executed.

and submitted on time.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Would be required to travel 15% to 20% of the time, including overnight.

1. Education

Required: High school diploma.

Preferred: 4-year Construction Science, Engineering, or Business Administration Degree

2. Licensing/Registration/Certification

Required: maintain regional specific registrations.

Preferred: P.E. and or local / regional licensing i.e.: Electrical, Low voltage, Alarm, or as determined appropriate

3. Experience

Required: 3 years Regional Management, Construction Project Management, or Construction Project Engineering

Preferred: 7 years Regional Management, Construction Project Management and Construction Project Engineering experience and 5 years’ general field construction experience. 5 years physical / electronic security systems experience.

Equivalent combination of experience, education, certifications, or training will be considered.
