Job Summary


As a Routing Coordinator at proof. Pest Control, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency of our pest control services across multiple states. Your primary responsibility will be coordinating and scheduling routes for our service technicians, ensuring that customer appointments are met promptly and efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented and strategic individual who can handle multiple routes simultaneously, focusing on maintaining smooth operational flow and enhancing service delivery.


Key Responsibilities


Route Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly service routes for multiple locations.

  • Schedule appointments and adjust routes to accommodate customer needs and service demands.

  • Optimize routes to ensure maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal travel time.


Coordination and Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for service technicians regarding route assignments and scheduling updates.

  • Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, handle rescheduling, and address any service-related inquiries or issues.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all operational requirements are met and that route planning aligns with company goals.


Data Management and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of route schedules, technician availability, and service requests.

  • Utilize routing software and tools to analyze route efficiency and make data-driven improvements.

  • Prepare and review reports on route performance, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.


Problem Resolution:

  • Address and resolve any route-related issues or disruptions promptly and effectively, such as delays or cancellations.

  • Implement contingency plans to mitigate the impact of unexpected events on service delivery.

Customer Service

  • At times, answer incoming customer calls (to schedule services, collect payment information, etc.)

  • Correspond with customers via mail, email, online chat, etc.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in route planning, scheduling, or logistics coordination, preferably in a service-oriented industry.


Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing schedules and routes.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in routing software and Google Suite/Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.


Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position; standard business hours with occasional flexibility required.

  • A hybrid role with full remote possible based on individual needs.
