Schedule: 40 hours a week.

M-F

Rate: The rate for this position is $31-$33/hour.

SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced individual to be an integral part of our hospitality accounting team as well as work closely with our department managers to analyze and improve labor productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and payroll journal entries.
  • Development and distribution of labor reports
  • Organization of weekly and monthly labor reviews.
  • Assisting with payroll tasks and audits
  • Other accounting duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree in Business/Accounting; or two(2) - three(3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two+ years' experience in a hospitality finance or accounting role preferred. Prior payroll reconciliation experience preferred. Prior experience utilizing financial reporting ERPs, labor management systems and creating Microsoft excel worksheets strongly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Be aware that at times it may be necessary to move you from you accustomed schedule as task assignments demand. In addition, it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
