JOB OVERVIEW

As a Support Specialist you will be at the front line in setting and delivering client expectations 

Responsibilities include receiving and routing inbound emails, telephone switchboard operation, onboarding client requests, scheduling appointments, relationship maintenance, and logistics coordination support. 

Being part of the Southland team requires being highly reliable, having an eye for detail, a calm demeanor, an aptitude for maintaining accurate data and overall being a "ringleader of responsiveness". 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must follow specified published Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Manage inbound calls and emails in an expedited fashion
  • Intake new claims or service requests
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate data management
  • Scheduling of both client and corresponding field service technician appointments
  • Overseeing client damage boards and formulating responses and updates
  • Administrative support to all aspects of Logistics Coordination
  • Work within our AS400 based logistics systems
  • Acknowledge and resolve all customer concerns and properly escalate when required
  • Ability to impact our company bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated customers into repeat clients
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by Administration 


JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years Customer Service experience or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Effective use of MS O365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote)
  • Maintenance of a positive and professional attitude towards customers, fellow employees and vendors at all times
  • Must be willing to work hybrid/remote as job requires
