Office Safety Coordinator

Location: Jasper, TN Plant

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Type: Contract – could last a month +

Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Safety Coordinator to assist in our Jasper, TN plant. This role is in office, involving both hands-on tasks on the plant floor and administrative duties in the office. The Office Safety Coordinator will support our Safety Technician and help ensure a safe working environment for all employees. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Floor Duties:
    • Fill glove machines and ensure they are properly stocked.
    • Stock and maintain inventory of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    • Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and procedures.
  • Office Duties:
    • Coordinate and process safety shoe reimbursements.
    • Track and document safety activities and incidents.
    • Maintain accurate records of safety-related expenditures and reimbursements.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working on the plant floor and in an office environment.
  • Must have safety shoes (composite or steel-toed).
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Open to train 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a safety-related role is preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills
