Job Title: Material Coordinator

Reports To: Production Control Supervisor

Summary: The Material Coordinator is responsible for arranging the material flow to support the manufacturing process by maintaining stock requirements and quantity available with the ERP system.


Responsibilities:

  1. Receive/organize material within the ERP System
  2. Coordinate and expedite flow of material between departments
  3. Verify purchased material matches bill of material
  4. Move or transport materials from one department to another
  5. Monitor Tool Assembly work orders for material availability
  6. Manage all job to job transfers/warehouse location
  7. Close out work orders upon completion
  8. Monitor material handler day to day activities
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures
  10. Ensure compliance with safety procedures
  11. All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  1. 1 year of experience in a related field
  2. High School Diploma or GED is preferred
  3. Experience with an ERP System, Microsoft AX preferred
  4. Ability to multi-task, while maintaining organization
  5. Ability to lead a small group
  6. Strong computer skills
  7. Strong verbal and oral communication skills

Work Environment: This position operates in both an office and a shop environment.


Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. Frequently required to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.


Expected Hours of Work: This position regularly requires long hours and minimal weekend work.


Travel: This position may require travel to multiple Paslin facilities and/or vendor locations.
