Hybrid Pathways, a New Era company, is seeking a Third-Party Risk Assessment consultant to work with the appropriate teams to complete business partner risk assessment Triage Forms, Submit risk assessments to the third party risk management team and follow up with internal teams and vendors on risks identified during the third party risk assessments. This work will be to support a large enterprise insurer in the financial services industry. This is a 6-month remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal business teams and IT to complete the business partner and supplier risk assessment documentation.
  • Submit risk assessments to the customer’s IT GRC platform.
  • Follow-up with internal teams as well as vendor on risks identified during and after the third-party risk assessments.
Required Skills                                                                  
  • 2-5 years overall experience in Third-Party control evaluations.
  • Knowledgeable in reviewing third-party services security controls and relating them to data classification standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization including subject matter experts, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Experience leading functional business and technical teams in a large enterprise environment to deliver vendor risk management capabilities.
  • Experience with performing security risk analysis and compliance assessments in technical settings.
  • Experienced in reviewing third-party audit reports, such as SOC 2 reports, and penetration tests.
  • Experience working with vendors to meet vendor risk management business objectives.
  • Versed in reviewing third-party audit reports.
  • Requires previous experience with third party risk management evaluations, breach management strategies, a working knowledge of controls, and information security contract requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and leverage existing documentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar. 
  • Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as liaison between business and information security / information technology.
  • Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English 
  • Business outcomes mindset.
  • Solid balance of strategic thinking with detailed orientation.
  • Self-starter, ability to take initiative.
  • Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and work experience. Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc.
