Softworld is currently recruiting for a Third-Party Risk Manager to work in hybrid role in Boston. The ideal candidate will have experience Third Party Risk Mgmt (TPRM) including experience with TPRM tools (they use Audit Board). Also some experience working with vendors/vendor mgmt. and will ideally be someone who can adjusts quickly to different teams, cultures, and personalities.

The Information Security team is responsible for monitoring operations relating to third party risk management (TPRM) Day to day you will focus on the global monitoring of 3rd relationships, performing reviews of various relationships and supporting integrations of the risk management program to areas such as governance, compliance, and privacy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Initiate and review risk assessments of current and prospective third -party relationships in alignment with company, legal and industry regulations, and guidelines.
  • Partner and build relationships with internal business units to inventory 3rd party environments, including but not limited to systems, applications, storage, and services.
  • Through a residual risk ranking system implement and maintain a prioritized ranking of inventoried systems in order to perform ongoing monitoring and re-assessment of associated risks.
  • Manage and maintain TPRM or similar platform including integrations into internal processes including supply chain, vendor compliance etc.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • A minimum of 2 years of TPRM or risk-related experience required; 3-5 years of industry or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the 3rd party or vendor management lifecycle including related controls, processes and risk exposure (e.g., 3rd party identification, selection, management, termination), and applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong knowledge and experience with operational risk management, covering the full lifecycle of activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, prioritization, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Understanding of related regulatory requirements and expectations related to TPRM
