This position is for an Information Security Analyst to support the Executive Office for Administration and Finance IT. The successful candidate will be a meticulous and skilled professional responsible for managing internal and external audits, conducting thorough risk assessments, and formulating comprehensive security policies. A profound understanding of security frameworks, regulatory mandates, and industry best practices is essential to safeguard the organization's information assets from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with third-party auditors and IT teams to facilitate security audits.
- Policy Management: Oversee the catalog of Information Security Policies and Procedures, ensuring annual reviews and updates are conducted.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct internal IT risk assessments, documenting existing controls and identifying deficiencies.
- Vendor Risk Management: Manage the schedule of assessments for third-party vendors and escalate control weaknesses as necessary.
- Possession of professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar is preferred.
- Experience in information security, risk management, or a related field is essential.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
