UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.


POSITION SUMMARY

As a Lab Assistant, you will be part of a team that strives to uphold Unio Health Partners' mission to provide the highest level of care. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and clinical support to the laboratory. This position goes above and beyond to keep the lab running efficiently and effectively.

What you will be doing

  • Separates, prints, reviewing, faxes, and uploads to the different EHR systems
  • Specimen digital logs (FISH log/Histo log/Cyto log/PCR log) updated daily
  • Answer Lab telephone/Customer service
  • Assists in maintaining lab supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting order for supplies; verifying receipt supplies
  • Assists in resolving problems by consulting with pathologist, technical staff, and Director of
    Laboratory Operations
