Grain Inspector

Location: Grain Sampler at Cargill, Channelview, TX

Pay to $16.00 per hour

Obtains samples of grain from rail cars, ships, barges, truck and bins using methods prescribed by USDA-FGIS.

Correctly identifies each sample and returns to lab.

Assists in laboratory with processing of samples

Other Duties:
Works as Weigher as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Quality control, quality inspection, and quality assurance experience
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and HACCP principles
- Familiarity with farming, agriculture, and horticulture practices
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and data entry tasks
- Experience in food processing, data collection, and laboratory work
- Understanding of GFSI, CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
