Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Family Development Coach at our South Paris Office. A Family Development Coach provides direct customer-based support to all clients that are accessing a variety of programming throughout Community Concepts. This position is 40 hours, generally 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, however does required flexibility to accommodate the needs of clients.

Essential Duties:

  • Engage with families to collaboratively build partnerships to identify strengths and needs through a Whole Family Approach
  • Complete comprehensive assessments with clients in order to support each individual and family unit to set and meet goals
  • Advocate for families by collaborating with internal programs and external agencies to support application completion and ongoing partnerships
  • Keep accurate and detailed documentation on clients, support with data collection, and data entry

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Five years’ related experience preferred
  • Experience working with the general public a plus

Other Requirements: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team. Pre-employment SBI, DMV, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
