About the Position

We are currently seeking a social media and content coordinator to join our growing marketing team. If you are a driven professional that lives and breathes all things social media, this role is for you. You will report to the senior marketing manager and will need a strong background in social media content production and management.

You will play a key role in growing our brand across social media channels. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow in their own role while also supporting cross-functional goals, as needed by the marketing team.

About the Responsibilities

Social Media Management (75%):

  • Develop, implement, and manage organic and paid social media strategies across various platforms including LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and others.
  • Create and curate engaging, high-quality content (text, image, video) that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve engagement.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner to foster community interaction and positive brand image.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.

Content Writing (25%):

  • Write compelling social content, SEO-friendly blog posts, newsletters, and other content that drives traffic and engagement.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Conduct research to support content development and stay informed about industry trends and news.
  • Post content to the website and assist with ongoing content updates.

About the Requirements

  • A passion for all things social media.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and content writing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (HubSpot) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn Reporting and Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Working knowledge of social media advertising and strategy.

Desired skills:

  • Entry-level knowledge of SEO principals and some experience with SEO tools (SEMRush, MarketMuse, etc).
  • Experience working with CMS to publish web content.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team and are willing to jump out of your job description to support team efforts.
  • Ability to use AI as a supporting content tool to increase efficiency but always prioritize writing original content.
  • You have an open attitude to constructive editing and a desire to produce high-quality work.
