We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our financial lending team. Reporting to the General Counsel, the ideal candidate will ensure that all operations and business transactions follow relevant legal and internal rules, mitigating risks and safeguarding our company's integrity and reputation.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing company procedures to ensure compliance with internal company policies and the requirements of regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain expert understanding of the company’s compliance management program.
  • Assist the General Counsel in establishing and putting compliance policies and procedures into effect.
  • Perform compliance-related administrative tasks, such as performing data entry, filing regulatory documents, preparing compliance audit reports, and monitoring and responding to phone and email correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and coordinate the reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of issues, deficiencies, or regulatory matters.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business partners on how to mitigate compliance and operational risks.
  • Review marketing material to ensure it is in alignment with internal company and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel to identify and investigate compliance issues and risks and suggest ways to prevent or resolve them.
  • Manage and maintain risk and compliance documentation archive, including all files related to licensing.
  • Prepare compliance reports for the Compliance Committee’s review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance roles within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work and ability to handle confidential information.
