Job Description

Just for Kids is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee our before and after school programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising Program Managers, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and providing exceptional leadership and support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a caseload of Program Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality programs.
  • Mentor and coach Program Managers to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Engage regularly with Program Managers and site-based staff to share best practices and address challenges.
  • Represent Just for Kids at community events and school open houses to foster strong partnerships.
  • Lead the planning and preparation for break camps and summer camps.
  • Provide coaching and training to on-site staff to equip them with the skills and confidence to maintain our high standards of care.
  • Confidently and promptly resolve on-site concerns, utilizing quick-thinking problem-solving skills.
  • Identify training needs and organize staff training and professional development programs.
  • Handle parent communications with professionalism and care.
  • Provide insightful monthly reports on inspection results.
  • Oversee payroll review and approval.
  • Conduct thorough performance appraisals of Site Management.

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory, management, and leadership skills with substantial experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a talent for multi-tasking and effective time management.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to professionally interact with students, parents, and community members.
  • Experience with, or a willingness to learn, OCFS regulations related to school-age programs.
