Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Consulting Firm. This role will involve managing both internal financial records and providing bookkeeping services to external clients on a billable basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal Bookkeeping:
  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / General Ledger entries.
  • Invoicing
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
  • Prepare expense reports, bill clients accordingly
  • Work with our Controller and Director of Operations on optimizing processes
Client-Facing Bookkeeping:
  • Provide bookkeeping services to external clients on a billable basis, including accounts payable, accounts receivable.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client financial information and adhere to professional standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management roles.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and Online, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
