Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payable, as well as preparing financial reports and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

  • Process customer payments, including chargebacks from larger retailers, and analyze discrepancies in transactions with counterparties.
  • Resolve data entry issues and post daily invoices via EDI.
  • Monitor aging receivables and follow up on delinquent accounts.
  • Research and dispute customer claims and chargebacks.

Accounts Payable:

  • Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and enter them into the system.
  • Enter all other vendor invoices into the system.

Accounting:

  • Create accounting reports for management.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and analyses.
  • Prepare monthly tax reporting.


Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft products skills, including advanced Excel skills beyond v-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Strong experience using an ERP system, preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Experience in the Wholesale/Retail industry is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
