You Will:

  • Evaluates open position requisitions, and posts positions internally and externally.
  • Develops market and job specific recruitment strategies to achieve hiring goals. Strategies would include but not limited to cold calling, direct mail, local and national advertising, employee referral campaigns, university, conferences, career fairs, open houses, internet, networking, etc.
  • Initiates and participates in national recruitment strategies to leverage our national scope and realize recruitment cost efficiencies, as appropriate.
  • Maintains knowledge of and facilitates the placement of approved contractor/traveler coverage to ensure all positions have adequate coverage.
  • Partners with HR Managers, operators and hiring authorities to identify and problem solve recruitment and retention issues, including turnover, market pressures, competitive compensation, and management challenges.
  • Researches, recommends and utilizes appropriate sourcing venues in various markets.
  • Utilizes appropriate internet venues to source qualified applicants.
  • Provides thorough prescreens, evaluating candidate skills and behavioral characteristics, and submits qualified applicants to hiring authorities in a timely way.
  • Verifies with appropriate HR Representative internal applicant’s eligibility for transfer and/or promotion, and previous employee’s eligibility for rehire prior to forwarding internal applicants and/or rehires to hiring managers for review/consideration.
  • Maintains solid working knowledge of our industry and competitors and uses this data to enhance recruitment results.
  • Effectively utilizes cold calling and networking strategies to identify appropriate candidates.
  • Initiates and supports recruitment initiatives, including attendance at conferences, career fairs and open houses.
  • Follows all recruitment department policies and protocols.
  • Communicates effectively and maintains rapport with hiring managers.
  • Maintains professionalism in all situations and involves managers as appropriate.
  • Remains current on company policies and employment law and all federal, state and local laws/regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of employees and management.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma (College Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred)
  • Human Resources Certificate/Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience.
  • Ability to develop and execute recruitment plans to source appropriate candidates, accomplished through multiple recruitment venues including internet, cold calling, trade shows/career fairs, direct mail campaigns, local and national advertising, employee referral promotions, university relationships, networking within professional associations and within the healthcare industry, utilizing internal resources.
  • Ability to develop successful partnerships with operations and hiring authorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of various computer programs and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Dynamic and professional presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle delicate and confidential situations
