Job Summary:

The Communications Associate will support the development and implementation of effective communication strategies to enhance the organization's brand, engage stakeholders, and promote key initiatives. This role involves a combination of content creation, media relations, social media management, and internal communications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations:

    • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of media outreach efforts, including pitching stories, responding to media inquiries, and organizing press events.
    • Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports.
  • Social Media Management:

    • Manage the organization's social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and publishing content.
    • Engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages and monitoring trends.
    • Analyze social media metrics and provide recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
  • Internal Communications:
