As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing an existing book of business. This is a fully service-oriented role with no sales expectations or quotas. Your primary focus will be on managing the entire renewal process for each account and handling cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. You will also be responsible for negotiating with carriers, processing certificates and endorsements, and binding policies. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and values client relationships.
- Manage Renewals: Oversee the entire renewal process for commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention by delivering top-notch service.
- Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage through cross-selling and up-selling without the pressure of cold calling or hunting new business.
- Carrier Negotiations: Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for clients, ensuring the best possible coverage options.
- Process Documentation: Handle the processing of certificates, endorsements, and policy bindings, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Office Commitment: Work full-time in the office, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring availability to clients and colleagues.
- Relationship Management: Focus on building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
- Location: Must reside within 15 minutes of either the Albuquerque or Las Vegas office, ensuring a strong understanding of the local market.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with commercial insurance products and industry practices. Experience with captive agencies is acceptable.
- Stability: Preference for candidates with stable work histories, demonstrating long-term commitment and reliability.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
