We are a female-owned cannabis company seeking to shape the future of the industry. We recently won an adult-use dispensary license in the State of Illinois, and launched our retail cannabis brand-Socíale-an aspiring vertically integrated operation. Our growth plans span Illinois dispensaries, out-of-state dispensaries, and craft grow operations. Committed to social equity at every touchpoint-passionate about fostering community development, cannabis education, and cannabis justice reform through each project.


Responsibilities:

  • The Retail Floor Lead reports to the Retail General Manager, Assistant General Manager and operations managers
  • This role supports the store in the achievement of sales goals and directs daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD)
  • Assists with the Sunrise, Midday and Sunset Reporting
  • Assists with morning count and product intake
  • Models and holds employees accountable to customer service standards
  • Models and ensures all policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated effectively to employees, maintained, and properly followed
  • Works as a part of a high-performing team to achieve the store's sales plan and Supports sales-driving initiatives
  • Provides coaching in the moment and performance feedback to employees and communicates performance issues directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager
  • Directs employees to ensure appropriate product displays and presentations, and ensures the selling floor is adequately stocked according to visual standards
  • Stays informed by maintaining product knowledge, accessing available training, and seeking out additional resources when necessary
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by General Manager, AGM and Operation managers

What We Are Looking For

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Embrace and lead with Nirvana's Mission Statement and Company Values daily.
  • Retail experience
  • Available to work a varied schedule to observe employees and customers at different times of the day, week, and year (including Holidays)
  • Demonstrate comfort and ease with using POS and Dispensary Hardware including scanners, computers, Tablets etc.
  • Team oriented
  • Flexible and ability work in a dynamic environment
  • Passion for cannabis
  • Passion for leadership
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
  • Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift.
  • Requires normal hearing range.
