Responsibilities
- The Manufacturing Line Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, feeding raw material, monitoring, troubleshooting and report any required maintenance on assigned production lines.
- The Manufacturing Line Operator will also be responsible for inspecting the product and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality.
- Keep work areas clean to avoid product contamination and maintain a safe workplace.
- Follow all safety guidelines, GMPs and regulations laid out by OSHA and this organization.
- Constantly monitor the appearance of the product and take the necessary corrective actions to maintain it within specifications.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience operating equipment in a food production environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working in a cold/wet environment (35-40 degrees) for extended periods of time in warehouse.
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect product produced.
Experience and Ideal Candidate
- Preferred 2+ years (1 minimum) experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment as a Machine Operator
- Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to multi-task
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Familiarity with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, small wrenches etc.
