Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Daisy Brand. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art packaging equipment, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate automated filler, box forming, and packing equipment
  • Manual loading of packaging materials, including cups, foil, and shippers
  • Stage packaging supplies using pallet jacks
  • Perform and record production and quality controls
  • Clean and sterilize packaging equipment manually and clean in place
  • Preventative machine maintenance
  • Follow Daisy Brand food safety and quality protocols
  • Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), housekeeping, and safe work practices
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; maintenance-related background preferred
  • Packaging machine operation and troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Attention to detail regarding machine operation and outgoing package quality
  • Must be able to understand and follow all GMP and Safety requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and twist throughout shift
  • Must be able to multitask while working with a team
