Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Production: Inspect patterns to determine each job's requirements and decide on appropriate sewing techniques.
  • Production: Cut, sew, and glue fabric according to the requirements of each article, operating the foot pedal, stitch length, and width regulators as needed.
  • Quality Control: Detect and repair basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend meetings with manager and coworkers to discuss production goals and strategies.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of safety protocols related to operating sewing machines and working in a manufacturing environment.
