We are seeking a dynamic Operations Sales Coordinator to join our team and support our sales team in achieving their purpose.

Overview: The Purchasing Associate is responsible for supporting the procurement process by assisting with purchasing activities, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, processing purchase orders, and collaborating with various departments to meet the company’s procurement needs. The Purchasing Associate plays a key role in optimizing the supply chain and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders for supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet their purchasing needs.
  • Review and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, returns, and invoicing.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and distribute procurement reports to management as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement process.

  • Inventory turnover and stock levels.
  • Cost savings achieved through effective negotiation and procurement strategies.

  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of procurement records and documentation.
  • Maintaining effective communication and coordination with vendors and internal departments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management in the Cannabis industry a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with vendor management and negotiation is a plus.
