Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be utilizing your strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while upholding our commitment to safety and integrity. With regular 8-hour workdays from Monday to Friday, occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results for our customers.
Are you the Project Manager we're looking for?To excel in the role of Project Manager at Alaska Village Electric Cooperative, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related discipline along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management. Additionally, the following skills and qualifications are essential for success in this position: - Project Management Professional certification - Creative problem-solving skills - Proficiency in project management software tools and methodologies - Experience managing projects through their entire life cycle - Strong analytical abilities - Effective interpersonal communication skills - Ability to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational skills - Competency in technical document interpretation - Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Adobe - Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control - Effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing capabilities - Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work environments - Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor - Experience working with diverse clients and individuals, demonstrating patience and cultural sensitivity.
