Position Description

Community School of Naples (CSN) is seeking a full-time Donor Data and Prospecting Manager for our Advancement Department. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the Advancement Department, including donor data management in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, constituent records, moves management, recording donor engagement, prospect research and management, gift processing, acknowledgement data, analysis of data, and report preparation.

The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, high degree of integrity, and commitment to confidentiality; must be able to work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, parents, and community members to foster and maintain positive and productive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all monetary and in-kind gift processing of the Advancement Department:
    1. Gift entry
    2. Acknowledgement data
    3. Receipt and year-end tax receipt creation
    4. Pledge reminder data
    5. Solicitation forms
    6. Pledge agreements
  • Responsible for prospect research and management including standard and customized pipeline reports, collaborating with front line fundraisers to help the department meet ongoing goals
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc statistical reports that may require manipulation and analysis of data
  • Responsible for designing queries and provides data analysis with a strategic focus to inform department decisions
  • Track all details related to donor solicitation meetings, engagement, correspondence, pledges, payment schedules and pledge proposals
  • Prepare and maintain all fundraising dashboards and trackers
  • Data support for all fundraising and engagement efforts, including campaigns and events
  • Maintain the integrity of the database, update data, collection and input of information
  • Maintain consistency between donor records and spring fundraiser database
  • Support the execution of annual and long-range objectives for CSN fundraising activities
  • Collaborate in the development, documentation and maintenance of processes and procedures
  • Attend and support appropriate engagement events or the needs of the Advancement Department

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge required
  • At least two or more years’ experience in nonprofit or independent school advancement preferred
  • Strong database management skills, experience with donor database applications and special event applications
  • Superior organizational and project management skills with a high degree of detail-oriented accuracy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks, and to manage details and deadlines
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently

Compensation and Benefits

This appointment is for the 2024/2025 academic year and is paid commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and qualifications.
