We are seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join our team on a full-time, temporary contract basis. This individual will help manage and produce a variety of writing projects, including executive social media posts, PowerPoint presentations, scripts, thought leadership articles, internal communications, and more. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer, able to maintain flexibility and a sense of humor while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver writing projects as assigned
- Ability to repurpose content into various forms and help build and maintain a content hub
- Craft, edit, and oversee compelling, high-quality social media content for executive leadership, reflecting the company’s voice and objectives.
- Produce thought leadership articles and other writing projects to elevate company visibility and brand reputation.
- Collaborate with different team members and/or departments to gather information and insights for various communications.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye on both short-term deadlines and long-term objectives.
- Provide guidance and feedback to internal teams to enhance communications effectiveness.
Who You Are:
- The ideal candidate will be able to understand the big picture strategy of why something is important, and must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.
- He or she will know how to prioritize and work under pressure while dealing with ambiguity and working with multiple stakeholders around the world.
- A proactive and flexible mindset, collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to experiential marketing, event management, public relations, or communications.
- 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both short-form and long-form content creation.
- Comfortable with MS Word, PPT, Excel, Smartsheet, Slack
- A proven track record of managing executive social media profiles and producing high-impact communications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
