Recruitment Coordinator - Call Center(In-person)
Coordinating placements of election workers at Vote Centers during election terms in Harris County.Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Customer service with heavy phone calls and emails.
  2. Supporting election workers with registering for training, finding clerks, identifying availability, scheduling for supply pick-up, identifying back-up workers and potential judges and signing up for compensation.
  3. Updating Excel spreadsheets, Election Management System, Airtable and other applications. Heavy data entry/computer use.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  2. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must have previous Microsoft Word and Excel work experience.
    1. Good verbal and written communication skills a must.
    2. Typing of 40+ WPM required.
    3. Able to prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within deadlines.
    4. Must be able to perform well without in-person supervision, within expected work hours and maintain good performance.
    5. Some negotiation skill is preferred.
Education and Experience:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Must be able to lift 35 pounds at times.
