You tend to be very service-oriented but enjoy selling as well. You have excellent listening skills and are perceived as a person with an active interest in the opinions of others. Your style is natural and genuine. You can handle both the human side and the task side of the job. You are comfortable with meeting people in person, talking on the phone and using a computer all day, so you are computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are inspired to help every client with all their insurance needs, which means ensuring the client is fully protected with the right insurance policies and coverage and uncovering other opportunities to offer other types of coverage. About Us:
Younger Insurance was founded in 2018 and has since helped over a thousand local residents with their insurance needs. Our number one goal is to service our clients and help them secure the coverage they need, at a price that works for their budget. We do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it.
Unlike a captive, or direct insurance company who only offers their own proprietary products, our agency is 100% independent. We work for our clients, not one specific insurance company. Our success is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community and the companies we work with.
Generally, your schedule will consist of a mix of day shifts with at least one evening each week and one Saturday every three weeks. This position is full-time.

Responsibilities
- Welcome in person traffic with a smile, professional attire and professional demeanor.
- Build rapport by having an intelligent and friendly conversation that uncovers clients' needs and answers their questions.
- Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling, while following Agency processes.
- Communicate with clients, potential clients and companies we represent in person, on the phone, and via email.
- Manage and update data in our proprietary software system.
- Support teammates with follow up for clients and prospects.
- Research and resolve coverage questions.
- Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically.
- Issue new policies and complete post bind activities.
- Manage upcoming renewals that are assigned to you.
- Handle general service requests.
- Deal with lapsed/cancelled policy reinstatements when applicable.
- Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. College education is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator.
- Must be computer literate and type quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Organized, structured, and punctual and will follow the rules.
- Must have a clean record with the DMV. Trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, computer systems, carriers, and processing is considered a plus but is not required.
- Having a Property and Casualty Insurance license is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train and contribute to the license expenses for the right candidate.
