Job Title: SYEP Worksite Monitor

 

Job Summary: 

 

The Education, Career, and Enrichment department at CASES specializes in serving youth and young adults impacted by the criminal legal system. The Education and Career Services team at CASES is looking for a Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) Work Site Monitor. CASES provides clients with an opportunity to have a 6-week paid work experience during the summer, and the SYEP Worksite Monitor will support this work from June through August.

This position will require a considerable amount of travel within NYC via MTA. This position entails a 20-hour weekly commitment. Carfare and an agency cell phone are provided for the duration of the employment. Due to the nature of SYEP, a Worksite Monitor must commit to working a total of 20 hours per week from May/June through August. Requirements: Willingness to travel on subway to multiple sites per day. Must be available to work until 7pm on Tuesdays.

The position is scheduled to begin in June.

 


Salary: The hourly salary for the SYEP Worksite Monitor position is $23.00 an hour.

Shift Hours: The SYEP Worksite Monitor position is full time from Monday through Friday.

 

Location Address: 2090 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd New York, NY 10027.

 

Workplace Flexibility: CASES offers various work arrangements, where possible for certain roles. This position requires traveling to various sites in Harlem NY with travel throughout NYC.

  • May/June
  • Work with team to develop worksites and secure required worksite documentation.
  • Secure worksite applications and all supporting documentation to be submitted to the program supervisor.
  • Provide prompt communication with stakeholders, including parents, referral partners, and employers.
