Dispatch Operator - Arrow Security - Long Island Region

3 Shifts:

Morning- 7AM-11AM- 5 days a week

Afternoon- 3PM-7PM- 5 days a week

Overnight- 10PM-2PM- 5 days a week

***These shifts will include various weekend days. Must be flexible with hours.

Pay Rate: $22-25/hr

Position Summary:

As a crucial member of our Operations team, the Dispatch Operator is responsible for managing and maintaining scheduling coverage on a daily basis. This role requires a professional and resourceful individual who can effectively communicate with our valued employees, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and swiftly address open post availability. The ideal candidate will consistently provide exceptional customer service, skillfully addressing inquiries and resolving concerns, while fostering positive, lasting relationships with all Arrow Security team members.

The Dispatcher collaborates with the Operations and HR departments to foster best practices aligned with federal and state regulations and is committed to the respect and integrity of Arrow's mission to provide an outstanding employee and client experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct roll calls for all sites, reporting the results to the on-duty tour commander
• Adhere to company protocols when addressing no-shows or no-call situations
• Must be adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment to ensure timely issue resolution
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Respond quickly and effectively to situations, escalating to on-duty supervision as necessary
• Perform additional administrative and dispatch-related tasks as required
• Deliver exceptional customer service in high tempo work environment
• Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure and stress
• Strong ability to work as an integral member of a tight knit team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of dispatch experience, preferably in the Security industry
• Working knowledge of computer software/applications experience in WinTeam a plus
• Administrative, call center, or clerical duties preferred
• High school diploma/GED
• Proof of residency/right to work in the U.S.
