About the Position

Hamilton Capital is seeking a dynamic professional to add to our Financial Advisory Team. At Hamilton Capital, Financial Advisors play an instrumental role in developing and deepening relationships with new and exiting clients as well as providing ongoing financial advice and guides on our clients' financial journeys. The Hamilton Capital Financial Advisor makes long-and trusting relationship building the foundation of all work and focuses on delivering excellence in a unique and customized manner. Financial Advisors are expected to work closely with their clients to build the right road map that helps them to achieve their financial goals. In addition, Financial Advisors are experts on the overarching Hamilton Capital investment management strategies and are confident in providing the insightful advice for each unique client need.

Primary Position Responsibilities

  • Proudly lives and embodies the Hamilton Capital Brand as a primary member (or leader depending on experience) of the client relationship and advisory team.
  • Builds deeply connected and trusted relationships with clients and teammates by providing exceptional service at every step of the client relationship.
  • Self-motivated and excited to go above and beyond to assist with internal and external needs in alignment with out commitment to delivering and serving with excellence.
  • Acts as a true fiduciary to our clients, always acting in the best interest of the client and their specific needs while adhering to compliance standards applicable to the financial services industry.
  • Enthusiastically develops financial planning skills and expertise in a culture of continuous improvement so that one can consistently and delivers innovative and contemporary advice and counsel to clients as appropriate.
  • Masters the firm's standard of practice areas in financial planning, investment management and client service deliverables.
  • Masters the financial and investment features of HC's Wealth Management System.
  • Is deeply committed to and passionately believes in the firm's highly differentiated investment approach and philosophy and the value proposition of such a unique methodology.
  • Excited to stay abreast of and share new learnings around developments in the financial industry.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in financial planning, economics, accounting, or business preferred
  • Has CFP, ChFC, or Series 65, 7 or 63 licenses
  • If not a CFP, obtains CFP certification within 24-30 months of starting in the position
  • Experience level desired will vary depending on particular role within our Team, but must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and aptitude to learn specialized, industry-specific software programs
