Clinical Director Position Overview

The BCBA Clinical Director is a leadership position overseeing the operations and clinical practice for in-home and community services within the greater Charlottesville region. The Clinical Director reports directly to the Regional Director. Clinical Directors are still required to maintain a small client caseload and have a minimum billing requirement of 20 billable hours per week.

The Behavior Doc is a behavior analyst owned and managed agency with doctorate level analysts on staff. BCBA Supervisor Requirements

BCBAs provide intensive, data-driven treatment to clients with autism and developmental disabilities within the home, school, and community settings. Analysts will be responsible for providing on-going training and feedback to our RBT level staff, as well as caregivers. Employees in this role are responsible for conducting adaptive behavior assessments, functional assessments as well as skill assessments to be included in our clients individual treatment plans with guidance from our skilled doctorate-level staff. Additional requirements are to routinely evaluate program effectiveness, make modifications as needed, as well as establish positive relationships with our providers, caregivers, and outside stakeholders. Our clinical supervisors must be detailed oriented, and strong in the areas of data analysis, leadership, and communication.

Job Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree + approved BCBA course sequence
  • Licensure/Certification: VA Licensure and BACB credential as a board certified behavior analyst is required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in an OBM role
