Job Description

You must be a current Vuori Retail Employee to be eligible for this position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to support our People & Culture and HQ Events Program Manager in planning and executing engaging company events. This is a part-time, temporary position from mid-September 2024 to the end of December 2024. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a passion for events, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:   

  • Collaborate with People & Culture and HQ Events Program Manager to plan and execute HQ events.  
  • Research and negotiate competitive pricing with rental companies, food suppliers, and misc. vendors  
  • Assist with supporting event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and hotel and transportation accommodations.    
  • Develop and maintain event run of the show and distribute to relevant teams.  
  • Create and distribute event materials such as invitations, flyers, and signage.  
  • Maintain event records, attendance data, and participant feedback.  
  • Coordinate with internal teams (office coordinators, facilities & security, and technology) for event support and execution.  
  • Oversees on-site vendor setup, management, and event closure in partnership with internal teams or venue.  
  • Handles event supply logistics, including loading and unloading.  
  • Fosters a positive event atmosphere through teamwork and collaboration.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience with event coordination – experience in a corporate office setting is a plus  
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self-starter.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative team attitude.  
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed.  
  • Quick learner with a strong problem-solving aptitude.  
  • Previous experience with employee engagement initiatives preferred. 

Job Details:

  • Part-time: 20-23 hours per week   
  • Location: Carlsbad, CA office with on-site event requirements in the North County, San Diego area
