Job Summary
Paige Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Dock Lead to join our team. You will oversee all warehouse/dock operations and ensure receiving, loading, and lane coordination all run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include ensuring that warehouse/dock is organized, conduct regular inventory checks, ensure shipments are timely, assist with loading and unloading freight, and ensure freight is packaged safely and properly. The ideal candidate is highly organized and possesses experience in warehouse operations and/or logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse/dock
  • Ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner and customers are satisfied
  • Hire, train, and manage warehouse employees
  • Create work schedules
  • Manage freight from receiving to shipping
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and safety regulations
  • Educate employees on safety guidelines and reduce on-the-job accidents and injuries
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, employees, and company leadership to ensure all areas of the company are working together cohesively
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required, Associates degree preferred
  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred
  • Forklift operating experience and certification is preferred
  • Not required but is a plus: Clean driving record/MVR
  • Computer literate (some computer skills)
  • Must be able to lift at least 70lbs
  • Must be able to work mornings-prompt and on time
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Familiarity with state and federal safety regulations
  • Strong organizational skills
