In addition to steel walls, we manufacture steel steps and benches, aluminum coping, liner track, deck drains, liner bead and other custom fabrications.

The Logistics Coordinator is an integral part of our organization and a crucial member of the order processing and shipping team. The Logistics Coordinator will schedule and monitor the outbound/inbound deliveries as dictated within the system. Responsible for recording and reporting the schedule to the shipping department team, whereas your contribution directly relates to the on-time delivery of the best products in the industry.

Essential Functions of a Logistics Coordinator:

  • Successfully complete and adhere to company safety training when interacting with the shipper team members out on the work floor.
  • Will work with and have strong understanding of all support documentation for shipping/receiving product
  • Will have a full understanding of process and flow within the department
  • Regularly interaction and effective communication with supervisor, coworkers, outside vendors, drivers, brokers, and customers
  • Complete understanding of work instructions, production standards, process flow, safety procedures, quality standards, production procedures, and SOPs
  • Train and develop team members, both new hires and existing, within the scope of the shipping responsibilities
  • Highly versed knowledge of Global Shop procedures (clocking in & out of jobs, daily production & material transfers, checking inventory status, verifying completion of pick tickets, and completing daily tasks
  • Fully knowledgeable of production locations, inventory locations, and staged locations of finished goods off production lines
  • Will work with and understand prints/documents (Pick Tickets, Packing List, BOL, etc.)
  • Complete knowledge of how to complete required documentation
  • Demonstrate the ability to be open minded and flexible in thinking and execution of assigned tasks and receptive to new concepts or newly proposed/implemented procedures.
  • Monitor and review the existing standards, making or implementing suggestions that will further improve efficiency.
  • Work with and communicate with team members within the department as well as other departments to complete job assignments within the scheduled amount of time.

Qualifications for a Logistics Coordinator:

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Previous Logistics experience preferred
  • Effective, clear, and professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high stressed environment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills both internally and externally
  • Dependable and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work professionally when in dealing with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
  • Ability to occasionally move about in the facility to other departments
  • Ability to lift up-to 15 pounds
  • Work overtime hours when necessary
  • Occasionally required to lift, squat, stoop, kneel, or crouch

1st Shift M-F 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
