Summary

Big Oak Accounts Payable Specialist is there to make sure all bills are paid in an efficient and timely manner. The financial specialists provide administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, monitoring expenses, and keeping a record of it all for tax purposes.

Duties

Primary responsibilities:
  • Use QuickBooks to invoice clients and collect payments
  • Run Payroll and general usage of ADP for payroll and tax purposes
  • Pay vendor invoices and maintain payments in a timely manner
  • Work alongside tax professionals annually to reconcile tax filings of a 501c3 business.
  • Assist in building annual budget, monthly budget statements for board meetings and operate in good financial standing.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
18 years of age or older
2 years experience in accounts payable/receivable
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), G-Suite, QuickBooks, and standard administrative software
Candidates for this position must possess at least one of the following education credentials:
  • Associate degree or higher in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Administrative, managerial, and financial experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and balance several concurrent projects
