We seek a meticulous, interpersonal, analytical, and dependable leader for our Quality Manager role. To be successful, our newest teammate must serve as a leader in establishing, advancing, and maintaining quality functions and philosophies. Our Quality Manager will enhance and improve the company's products and services through the implementation of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards, problem-solving tools, prevention methods, quality-at-the-source, and

continual improvement techniques and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing the effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system to assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and the standards set by corporate/division policies.
  • Working within the Leadership Team to ensure that individuals performing quality affecting functions are trained, demonstrate appropriate skills, and deliver performance results.
  • Coordinating necessary personnel for internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits.
  • Chairing Material Review Board (MRB) with final authority for disposition of Non-Conforming (NC) items.
  • Maintaining a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints.
  • Observing and analyze organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction, and the cost. Use the results of performance evaluation to target improvement efforts.
  • Assessing supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance.

Our successful candidate qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in an Engineering or related discipline
  • 3-7 years of Quality, Engineering, or related experience including MRB authority/participation Experience in Aerospace Industry
  • In lieu of degree, 10 years of Quality, Engineering, or related experience including MRB authority/participation Experience in Aerospace Industry
  • Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) preferred
  • Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated management experience
  • Software proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Auto Cad Inventor, Pro/Engineer and web-based applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands
