Job DescriptionJob DescriptionParadigm is currently in search of an Inventory Control Specialist to work for our client in the audiovisual industry in Tigard. This onsite role would provide material support in a Lean Manufacturing environment by monitoring the accuracy of inventory, assuring daily resolution of errors identified by cycle counts and assuring timely and accurate completing of counting journals.

Shift: M-TH, 2PM - 12:30AMLocation: Tigard, Oregon

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will:
  • Maintain the daily cycle count program requiring inventory count accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer transaction corrections, inventory adjustments, and negative balance adjustments.
  • Liaise with the Manufacturing department to troubleshoot and rectify problems arising from inventory transaction errors.
  • Perform cycle counts as needed to resolve discrepancies.
  • Update cycle count reports and documentation.
  • Train employees on cycle counts.
  • Participate in annual inventory audits.
  • Support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in disposition of end of life inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.


RequirementsOur experience, skills, and wish-list includes:
  • 1 – 3 years related experience in material handling, cycle counting, or inventory control preferred.
  • Ability to understand part numbering.
  • Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).
  • Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification within 3 months from hire.
  • Must be available to work over-time and weekends when needed.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • May be required to alternate schedules to meet production goals.
  • Attendance is a critical function of this position.
