We are currently seeking a Federal Budget Consultant to join our team supporting Department of Defense clients in Washington, D.C. area.
What you’ll do:
The Federal Budget Consultant will support the Navy's effort to remediate audit findings issued by the IPA as it pertains to the Budget.
Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings and provide client support onsite/in person when required
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Defense Financial Management, accounting and budget preferable
- Experience with Department of Defense Audit Readiness and/or Audit Sustainment activities
- Experience with leading complex tasks involving building briefs, tracking budgets and schedules, and working across functional communities
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Active DOD SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
