Candidate should have experience with the federal acquisition/contracting process as a Program Manager, COR or Contracting Officer. In this position the Program Manager SME should understand the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework. The candidate will work closely with leadership to provide support in program management, acquisition management, and contracting activity and the acquisition processes and policies for the procurement efforts of a cross portfolio contracting requirements for for a Modernized Acquistion Management System. Candidate will contribute PM and Acquisition expertise to high-visibility initiatives and heavily involved in the rollout of a new agency acquisition package and drafting of the phases of a multiyear strategic plan. Candidate will provide direct guidance to project/program managers (P/PMs) and contracting officers representatives (CORs) on how to conceptualize, define, and develop acquisitions aligned also with specific acquisition management.
Experience:
  • Possesses subject matter knowledge in designated field of Acquisition or Government Contracting.
  • Formulate strategies, policies, and planning to meet program management & educational regulation & guidelines.
  • Provides insight and advice concerning task or project strategic direction and outcomes.
  • Provides advisory assistance in the planning, research, design, development, modeling, and training on complex work requirements.
  • Federal Acquisition Certification in Program/Project Management (FAC-P/PM) Senior Level (Level 3) would be a plus
Candidates must have at least 20+ years of Project Management Experience understanding Federal Government Projects/Programs.
Masters in a related field is required.
United State Citizen.
