Reporting directly to the Director of Sales - Mobility, the Business Development – Fleet Specialist will be entrusted with the responsibility of establishing and executing strategic plans. Essential Job Functions and Duties:

  • Outside Sales lead generation with all level companies and maintain regular timely interaction with prospects.
  • Drive relationships & business opportunities through the various channels
  • Analyze client needs, opportunities, current & future market trends to drive responsible opportunities/business/growth for the company.
  • Develop & maintain a working knowledge/understanding of competitors (incumbents/others).
  • Identify opportunities to be involved in client events (trade shows/training/product development/etc.)
  • Maintain all related contact & opportunity information within CRM system.
  • Utilize Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and other online resources to create new sales opportunities/relationships.
  • Utilize company’s CRM (Salesforce) to reengage with existing customers and prospects and create new sales opportunities.
  • Liaison with internal departments to ensure requirements are met by providing a closed loop process.
  • Execute effective closing strategies to bring the sales process to fruition with multiple build to order units.
  • Meet with C-Suite executives and build lasting partnerships to achieve revenue levels consistent with strategic objectives.
  • Create an evolving business plan for the fleet arena in a nationwide capacity.
  • Take ownership for setting smart sales goals to drive measurable results for retention, growth, profitability, and satisfied fleet management customers.
  • Interface with manufacturing team and product development

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associates Degree (Bachelor’s Preferred) with sales background
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a High-Level Outside Sales
  • Fleet or automotive sales experience preferred, but not required.

Critical Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to articulate previous success in creation of business plans.
  • Skilled at working with end users and a strong customer service mentality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicles platforms Fullsize/Minivans & understanding of upfitting
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team and collaborate with internal and

external customers.

  • Friendly demeanor with good energy and a positive attitude.
  • Strong customer FIRST mentality.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check.
Additional Knowledge/Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP and NetSuite preferred.
  • High level knowledge of Teams, Zoom or another virtual platform.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Able to function capably in an office environment using standard equipment (telephones, fax machines, computers, copiers, etc.)
  • Must be able to complete office-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
  • Experience working remotely and independently.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Participate in required company safety programs, trainings, and PPE guidelines.
